If I could only build two rifles, with no restraint, this is what I'd have:

A 11.5" plain jane SBR with an Eotech (or a removable handle)


And a 16" middy plain jane with a NF 1-4x24 mil dot in quick throws


I think you could pretty much cover all bases with that.

Interesting, but not 100% proportional.  I put a 14.5" barrel on a gun and it looked as long as a rifle, haha.  Even with a midlength handguard, the barrel stuck WAY out past the end.

Yeah, I was fighting the 14.5" barrel a bit, too. There's a few items not offered that I'd like, but overall, probably better than the Larue version since you're not stuck with one brand.

Is that a Vltor receiver, without the VIS? Anyone have any experience with that Magpul foregrip? The logic behind them seems pretty sound.
