I need to find a youtube of it, but I heard on the news earlier where Pelosi said one way or the other, she "is getting her healthcare reform". I suppose there's a few ways to take that, but it sounded a lot like a threat, and a personal agenda.

Saw that footage somewhere. At the end of any given day, she and her cohorts don't give a damn what the American people think or want.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2010/01/pelosi-we-will-have-health-care-one-way-or-another.html

Quote
ABC News' Jonathan Karl reports: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says Democrats will charge ahead with health care reform regardless of what happens in the Massachusetts Senate race.

"Let's remove all doubt, we will have health care -- one way or another," Pelosi told reporters in San Francisco.

It sounds like Brown wants to veto current health care proposals, but I wonder what he would vote for. He did vote for Romney Care, after all.

Sounds like Larry Kudlow (Kudlow Report) is running as a GOP against Charles Schumer for his Senate seat. Could be interesting. Nothing like seeing some conservative economists (Schiff comes to mind) unseat guys like Dodd and Schuemer. Here's hoping Rand, Larry, and Peter all end up with Senate seats.

And now Evan Bayh is. He announced yesterdy he isn't seeking reelection, and the Democrat Party didn't have a back-up plan. This is pretty much leaving the door open for Dan Coats, a Republican.

I have to wonder if Bayh is going to come back here and try to get the Governor seat back.
